License
When joining the club, you must also join the Finnish Armsport Association and obtain a license from the Finnish Armsport Association.
License types
Competition License (50 €): | For everyone competing in pro, junior, and master categories. |
---|---|
Hobbyist License (20 €): | For everyone competing in the novice category, as well as hobbyists who are already involved in the sport and train regularly. The hobbyist license is for those who have not yet competed or want to remain non-competitive hobbyists. A license is not required for first-timers or those trying the sport for the first few times. |
Upgrade from Hobbyist License to Competition License (30 €): | For novice category competitors who move to compete in the pro category. Requires an already valid hobbyist license. Select 'competition license' if you already have a valid hobbyist license. |
Support License (20 €): | For those who do not practice the sport but want to support the federation's activities. |
At the federation's annual meeting on January 20, 2024, it was decided that a hobbyist license must be obtained when participating in the club's organized activities for the fifth time. Thus, the sport can be tried four times without a license, but thereafter the person is considered a practitioner of the sport and a hobbyist license is required. Regardless of whether a competition or hobbyist license is obtained, one must belong to a federation-affiliated club. Licensing matters and license prices are decided annually at the Finnish Armsport Association's annual meeting.
